Here's the deal. Bilstein makes a singal tube high pressure shock. It's travel is less than the Koni twin tube-lower pressure shocks. Because of the longer travel of the Koni you get a little softer ride than the Bilstein. Of course if you want more "stiffness" or a more controlled firmer ride then you can adjust the Koni's to that stiffer level. Both are considered the best. I personally have the Koni's because I have shorter springs-hence my spring rate is stiffer and I want my ride adjustable to my preference.

www.eshocks.com has Bilsteins for $64.95 each and free shipping with the set of 4. Not a bad deal at all.

Go Bilstein!

WHY BUY BILSTEIN!

Bilstein®...the world leader in gas pressure shock absorber
technology, brings you WORLD CLASS PERFORMANCE.

The Ultimate in Ride, Handling & Control.

Since our inception over 40 years ago Bilstein has been a unique and driving force in the
automotive suspension industry. From racing and testing in Formula 1, NASCAR, SCCA,
Rally, and Off Road to original equipment on BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche,
Subaru, Toyota and GM trucks, Bilstein Gas Pressure Shock Absorbers have proven to be
the best.

If you've never experienced the exhilaration you feel when you driving a vehicle equipped with
Bilstein Shocks, you're in for a pleasant surprise. You'll soon discover there is, quite literally,
nothing like it. Unbelievable control, Precise handling. Ultimate performance. And incredible
comfort.

Better Built
Most conventional shocks are made with shock bodies cut from a piece of steel tubing, stamped
internal parts and compromised tolerances.

In contrast, Bilstein's shock bodies are precision formed through a unique seamless extrusion
process. This provides superior strength along with high finish tolerances that are usually
associated with surgical instruments. The finished body is then mated with a solid, induction
hardened steel chrome plated and polished shaft, machined valving components and highest
quality seals. Combined with extreme attention to detail, Bilstein provides you with the closest
thing to a hand built shock available today.

Better by Design
Heat is one of the major detriments to the performance and longevity of any shock absorber.
Conventional designed shocks trap the heat within the shock body and do not let it adequately
dissipate, making them prone to heat build up, fade and eventual failure.

Bilstein's technically superior, patented monotube gas charged design allows the excessive heat
from the oil to transfer to the outer surface of the shock body and dissipate more efficiently. The
dividing piston also permits the oil to expand as heat builds, preventing aeration (foaming) and
viscosity loss. This allows the shock to maintain full damping characteristics as temperature rise.

The Right Shock for Your Specific Application
Unlike other manufactures who provide a minimum selection of shocks to cover a broad range
of applications, Bilstein Shocks are built for each specific application. Luxury car, Sports car,
Sport Utility, Pickup or Motorhomes, Bilstein engineers take into account everything from
external dimensions, internal valving, mounting hardware to the weight and type of vehicle. In fact,
depending on your driving style, in some cases Bilstein offers a choice of shocks to satisfy your
individual performance preferences.

Safer Driving Through Superior Control
Ride, handling and control are what a shock absorber provides. Compromise in one area may
create a problem in another. Bilstein's patented design eliminates any compromise. The rising
rate valving of the Bilstein Shock provides the necessary damping to react quicker to road
conditions without sacrificing ride control. This combination of valving and high pressure nitrogen
gas keeps your tires in constant contact with the road helping to ensure safety through enhanced
control.

Your Best Value...for a Lifetime
Of all your suspension components, nothing works harder than your shock absorbers, making it
critical you pick the right ones for your vehicle. Bilstein Gas Pressurized Shock Absorbers are
the least expensive, fastest way, to dramatically improve the ride, handling and control of your
vehicle. Plus, with Bilstein's lifetime warranty, you may never have to purchase shock absorbers
again.

Whatever you do, don't go with Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks!

I made this mistake and would like to let everyone out there know how terrible they are! I for one am going back to Edelbrock IAS shocks.
