Nothing rare about that-all the 73-79 F350 SRW standard cab 4x2s had the 140" wheelbase with the narrow frame and side panel spare carrier. They also had a telescoping rear bumper

I had this example on my truck, it pulls out to offer protection for an slide-in camper. Ford did not offer these mounts as factory-installed equipment, they were aftermarket items that the factory bumper could be mounted to.

Ah, couldn't figure out why someone would want a telescopic rear bumper, I guess that makes sense.

The large heavy campers extend beyond the 8' box. It's nice to have the step
bumper for the door.

Any from the east coast that isn't a rusty pile. That's the rarest option.

Im also told, but have never seen personally, a 400M with a factory 4 barrel. There are guys that SWEAR a handful were made, and some sales literature mentions it, but to date, none has ever seen one in person.

There was a ranger package option with pseudo boss 302 stripes. Rare. Extended frame F-350s with the extended bed on it. Rare. Any with factory big block, cruise and air with lariat trim. Double option super camper special with trailer package. 1978 sno-fighter with front dana 60 on a super cab. Any 79 F-350 4x4 crew cab or supercab. a bunch more, but cant think of them right now.

Mine must be more common....F-150, XLT Ranger, 390-Holley 4 barrel, factory a.c.
that works, Viking Edition. You find a twin to it.

Ford didn't make 4X4 supercabs until 1978.

Yeah ^^^ me too. That is one item I've never seen. Most other stuff I have seen, but not that one. My Bronco has a lighted visor in it. But it's red in color.
