New truck, which bedliner??

Spray on! When I took the plastic liner out of my bed, I was shocked by the amount of paint damage and surface rust I found. It was off to the local Line-X dealer for me. I love my new liner, looks great and durable as hell! Check out their site, and stop by a dealer, you'll be glad you did!

How about a second opinion?
I have the Ford drop in liner. It fits under the rails, and it is held in place by the tie down bolts and the bed extender pivots, so it stays put, and doesn't rattle.
It has the Ford logo imbossed into it on the front, under the cab window and looks cool.
It hasn't scratched or torn in over two years of use, and it looks better than the spray-ins, IMHO.
The spray-in liners are OK , I guess, but they won't prevent the bed from getting dented like the drop ins do.
Also, I removed my liner to inspect under it, and have no wear or rust to date.
Anyhow, just my .02 worth.

Superbru...thats your opinion and well said...but....if you haul rocks, landscape bark, sand, and any other material that may "get behind" and in between your bed and "liner" from those cutouts at your tiedown points, it WILL reek havok (sp) on your paint. Drop in liners are also notoriuos for producing static electricity, and can be extremeley "slick" when wet. Your resale value will be higher with a spray in liner as there may be hidden damage under those plastic drop ins that a dealer or private buyer has to fix. Of course...if I bought a truck that had a drop in liner.....i'd spray it immediately. Just my $.02

New truck, which bedliner??
have you compared how each look in your truck? have you thought about how you will use your truck? I think the drop in, (I have a duraliner), is better for heavier use; like firewood, stone. but the spray in is probably great for light duty stuff; tailgating, picking up the Christmas tree.
I guess there is a price issue too, I think I paid $225 for a duraliner - 6 3/4' bed, and they're making these better than they were years ago, non-slip and all that. and a good one, the covers won't be popping off and allowing stones behind.
consider your options and get what you want
