Question anyone have part number for motorcraft IAC?

I bought a IAC valve for my 98 XLT, SOHC 4L, V6 for rockauto.com...

the one they sent is similar except the breather and plugin are at a wrong orinetation, so the plastic cover will not fit over the new valve...(breather exits out the top, not the side like my old one)

I have a picture but how do you post it in this message?

It is a motorcraft part, but aparerntly the wrong part number...I even used my VIN engine designation (E) to make the right selection.

So if anyone has the correct p/n let me know. the one i have is CX1914

it is the right part. just need to cut a hole on black cover where breather comes out to make it mount back on.

or you can call the dealership and get the ford oem part which is ussually in stock for around 100 bucks. matches up perfect.

might be a little late for that though being this was posted in nov.
