air bag code?

I'm getting a 23 air bag code. What does it mean? Will the air bag function?

Thanks

Thanks screwy. I guess it's something only a dealer can fix. Right?

Probably not the same as a Probe. I've posted the Bronco/F-series airbag code list a few times, and I think 23 refers to one of the circuits that goes through the clock spring behind the steering wheel. It's a ~$90 part from Ford, and you can replace it yourself with no special tools or procedures. The airbag CAN'T detonate.
