Automatic door locks
#17
This is the one thing I've found about my 04 Scab that I don't like. There have been a number of times where I would take my daughter to school, stop, get out and walk around to the passenger side to open the door for her (Super Cab) to find the door looked. Then I have to walk back around, unlock the door and walk back. As idiotic as it sounds, I've done it more then once. How annoying. Deactivating the auto lock feature is definitely something that I'm going to do.
(Ford if your listening, you need to add an option here to allow the door locks to be set to auto unlock).

just last night i went through the manual and deprogrammed the autolock feature.
you turn the key on and off and double click the remote unlock a few times as explained in the manual and the auto lock feature is disabled.
also confirm that in the rear seats you don't have the child safety switch in the door jam deployed. this prevents the rear door from beign opened anytime from the inside (police car mode )
