Die Cast or Plastic....

Been looking for ages to find either a die-cast or plastic model
of an 89 Bronco.
The best options I've found so far have been a model of
an 82 Bronco and an early 90's F-250 dually that I could kitbash and make an 89 out of with a bit of work,, but......

I'm guessing there are other Bronc owners out there that might be looking for the same thing -

Thanks in advance

HI, I;m not sure what state your in but, in Los Angeles, California, they have a town called City of Industry.

It's where all those Japapnese owned shops are. Three or four of the stores there just sell die-cast replicas of cars. If a car was put into mass production your will find it there. Also they are very cheap prices, you can get the big models for around $10-$12.00

Hope this helps!!

Monogram used to make a Bronco and boat trailer plastic model in the late 80's. Amounted to three units to build Bronco, trailer, and boat. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the model number is/was. The photo depicted a blue and white Bronco and a matching boat and trailer. Beyond that i couldn't begin to tell you how to track it down.

i recall seeing a plastic model somewhere recently, that was really cool because it could be built with or without the cap, with a roll bar, and different tires i think. not sure what front end it was, but since every else seems to be finding 82's, i am guessing thats what it was. will keep my eyes out though, as i always did. i am looking for one of a 94, so your thinking is correct, but i havnt seen one.

I have the model iskybantilus described, but it's a 80 model, that why I bought it, I love the 80s body style.
I also have a huge colection of hotwheels broncos, there all 80s style too. I have a buddy that sells die cast models for 12 bucks, He is "Mr Die cast" I think. He tells me that a company is talking about making a model of a bronco, don't know what year yet.
Good luck

I'm building a Monogram 1:24 Bronco. The sheet doesn't say what year but it looks like maybe early 80's. Has the same front end as my 86 but all chrome bumpers (no black bumper trim) and it has the letters FORD across the front of the hood (could be removed). Also has a carbureted small block.
