For Looks, I'd go for the dodge. I hate the way the new F150's look.

I'd have to go with the Dodge also, when it comes to looks. The new F-150's are too feminine looking for me, no offense.

If I wanted a sports car interior I would buy a sports car. The Dodge is a much better interior for bigger boys, nice and roomy with an open floor. I don't want a beefed up Ranchero/ElCamino, I want a TRUCK!

The new F-150 look like the F-150s of 1993-4. I think the 2nd Gen looked the sharpest and as a result, i unfortunatly had to pick the Tundra because it appears they copied the 2nd gen styling.

In case anyone is interested... I saw some pics of a Titan without the chrome bumper. Apparently, you can get a body colored bumper on some models. One was a red truck and the other was a dark grey. Both were much, much better looking. I'm afraid it may only be available on the lowest trim (XE) though which is kind of dumb. Sense when does a vehicle offer body colored molding/bumpers only on it's lowest trim level?

Towing... lets wait and see.

I went to a show last week in Louisville, Kentucky, and I sat in both the Ford F-150 Super Cab and the Dodge 1500 Crew Cab, the Ford Super Cab is almost the same, if not bigger on the inside. There was even a bigger difference in the F-150 Crew Cab, there was no comparison. The back seat in the Ram CC is a hair bigger than the backseat in my '95. The Chevy display had all of their trucks locked and would not let anyone sit inside (makes you wonder). Toyota had their Tundra Double Cab there, it was impossible for me to get in the back seat. I know I'm sounding biased, but Ford overall has the others beat, in looks as well as space, but as for the Nissan, that is yet to be determined. As for towing....well right now, my money is on the Ford, due to its low end, and the Dodge would be in a close second, my opinion on their thoughts is that if you can't make the torque down low, compensate with lots of horsepower, which is drawing attention to the Ram. Again, the Nissan may play a role in the towing arguement, but it looks like something a kid drew in Kindergarten art class.

As far as looks I think the 04 F150 is best ever by anyone. I don't know about best towing though, I have not pulled with any of them and by the numbers, the Titan could be the best puller. I love Fords but it looks like the motor Nissan put in is going to be a beast. Then there's the battle with the Hemi's. I think it will be interesting to see how they pull against each other. Can't wait for a good magazine comparison to get some nubers. I don't even consider Chevy's or Toyata's contenders for pulling. My uncle was born and raised a Chevy guy and switched to Dodge in 95 and has never looked back. Wish I could have got him to try a Ford.

Looks are such a personal thing ("beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and all that), but I just can't see anything attractive about the current Dodge. The previous model ('95-'02?) wasn't bad, but this one looks like an exagerated cartoon version of the old Dodge. And the new Durango? UUUUGGGGLLLLYYYY!! I see someone driving a new Dodge and think to myself, "what's he trying to prove? Making up for 'inadequacies' he was born with?"

Ford has a fully boxed frame. You guys can't honestly tell me a Ram will out-pull an F-150? Maybe if Dodge can build a good V-8 and mate it with a transmission that will actually go into gear correctly, and not hunt forever.

I will agree with the horrid looks of the Ram. Buety definately is in the eye of the Beer- holder with it. Looks like someone beat the previous Ram with the ugly stick, but as far as pulling I don't know. Ram also has a boxed frame and the Hemi is no slouch. I'm sure many of you have read much of the debate over the new Tritan vs. the Hemi, and I don't wanna see this thread turn into the same thing, but it will be very interesting to see how the two compare with a load. Unloaded though I don't think anyone can argue that the Ram wouldn't win a race.
