I like the idea that it is getting some good money. Makes our trucks worth more. I have e-mailed the guy and hopefully he will share some knowledge with us.

Daryl showed me that truck in an e-mail about 3 months ago he must know the guy. I must say that bed does go fairl well, but he should of filled in taillights and added the old style lights(I know I'm picky). -4speed

Ok Daryl

Give it up. What do you know. I wonder what you would have if you grafted the old fenders and the old tailights? It sure would be easier to get a 92 bed than a 57 - 72 (I think that is the interchange).

Straight from the builders mouth!!!!!!!!!

Here is what the owner said.

"FIRST OFF, THE FRAME HAD TO BE EXTENDED 8" TO PICK UP THE REAR FLOOR X MEMBER OF THE BED. THE EXTENSION ANGLES WERE TURNED TO EXTEND OUTWARD BECAUSE THE BED MOUNTS ON THE NEW BED ARE WIDER APART. THE BED HAD TO BE SHIMMED UP APPROX 1 " TO BRING THE LOWER BED BODY LINE TO MATCH UP WITH THE BODY LINE ON THE CAB. THE WHEEL OPENING ALIGNED PERFECT WITH THE REAR WHEELS. THE UPPER FRONT BODY LINE ON THE BED WAS FILLED TO ALOW THE BED TO LOOK LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR THE TRUCK. THE REAR OUTSIDE EDGES OF THE CAB WERE ALSO FILLED IN SMOOTH.
PS. THE TRUCK IS FOR SALE ! ASKING $20,000.00"

Doesn't sound too bad. One of y'all jump on it and then tell us if it is as easy as it sounds.
