Joners,
Looks Great!! The roll pan turned out very nice. Did you end up welding it on?
Good Luck and keep us updated!

Yup, they welded it, then filled it in. Looks very nice. I had no clue it installed like that

I just spent 2.5 hours putting the cab mounts in. Those rears are a pain!

It's a secret.

The black primer should give you a hint.

That hint will be, it's going to be a dark color

Beautiful job. Your truck is really looking great!

What are those fixtures you have mounted below the new roll pan?

PSSSSSST Joners,

Better tell Kenny about your fuel system. He thinks your installing an automatic ice maker.

joners, not at all.
I was just curious as to what they were.
I was guessing that they were maybe dryers for on-board air, or some kind of air ride adjusting selonoids. It never dawned on me that they would be part of the fuel system. rolleyes: I'm a little slow sometimes.
Thanks!

fenders,
Ice maker=great idea! Now, if I you can just help me come up with a way to make crushed or cube..........

Steve,
You may want to check the instructions with the filter. If it is upside down, gravity may cause the sediment to be picked up in the fuel flow instead of settling out.
Might be worth an extra look before you plumb all the lines.
Good Luck,

I was told by another guy that the fuel pump should be the other way because the way the busing is on it or something?

I will be switching it next week when I'm off work.

Joners

As Kent said, I would consult the instructions and not stray far from the manufacturers guidance. Electric fuel pumps can give you fits if they aren't installed correctly. They typically push fuel very well, and suck fuel very poorly. They can easily lose their prime, give inconsistent pressure or just quit altogether on you. If you are installing those FI parts I see on the garage floor in the PIC, consistently correct fuel pressure means everything.
