Duraliner vs. Ford Liner

When negotiating witht he dealer over an '04 SCab, I made a bedliner part of the deal. They agreed and said they would put in a "Duraliner, not those cheap ones". Now I hear Ford makes one just for the '04. Anyone have an opinion on this? Did I get hosed?

A local truck accessory place told me the duraliner was the mid range one. I also thought they made the Ford one, but not for sure.

I got a Penda liner SR (skid resistor).

Most people like the spray ins (line X & rhino), but I liked the extra dent protection of the drop ins.

In previous years, Ford had put their name on the Duraliner product. You would actually see both names, Ford on the Front near the cab and Duraliner on the sides by the wheel wells. Today, I do not believe the Ford Product is the Duraliner any longer. I think Duraliner makes the best bedliner...The Ford version I saw in a 2003 F150 the other day looked of lesser quality than the Duraliner that I have in my 1999...Check it out...

I put a BedRug in my 03 SC. Couldn't be happier and it's darn tuff. Plus it doesn't scuff or damage the bed surface at all. I also have a Snug Lid installed so the rug stays nice and dry but I'd still have gone with the BR even if I hadn't put on the lid. Good luck with whatever choice you make.

Unhappy bedrug

I ordered a bedrug for my O4 SCrew 3 weeks ago. Have been told they are not making them yet by Truckn America and that its on back order. They have no idea when it will come in. I am surprised the Bedrug company has not gotten into production of the O4 stuff yet. Bought a rubber liner for the floor to protect it in the meantime.
Also bought Ford rubber floor mats. They are too small particularly in the back where they are way too small. Parts department won't take them back because they are a special order. Most stores would have taken stuff back without any questions.
