I have the line-x. I choose that because I also have it on the racks and bumper of my Honda Foreman es 4x4 and it wears like iron. This isn't a fun quad, but a working one that gets put to the paces on a farm.

Line-X. They have a better traction surface and more even distribution of material. Have them do the rail caps too, it costs an extra $75 or so.

Line-x with over the rail. Its more textured than the rhino that has more of a clumpy look to it.

To my knowledge, I have never even seen a truck with Line-x.

But I can tell you for certain that the rhinoliner in my truck is tough as nails, plus some.

I guess if "pretty" is a criteria for a dang pickup truck bed liner than Line-x may be the way to go, but if durability and abusability are more significant factors, that lumpy old rhinoliner has *got to be* very hard to beat.

. . just another opinion . .

A guy over on F-150 Online did a test of the materials used for the spray-ins. The results for the Rhino were pretty disappointing.
He had his truck done with Line-X. Good enough for me, I have a Line-X, too.
I guess the guy that did the tests is some kind of materials scientist.

We did a similar test to a friend's truck in Atlanta. He was wondering which brand to sell at his shop, so he sprayed half his bed with Rhino, and the other half with Line-X. Within a month, you could see the difference between them - plywood, and other building materials, boxes, etc. The Line-X held up a lot better than the Rhino did.

I ave also heard it depends on the application and who is doing the application also - but really don't know about that...

I went with Line-X over the rail. Tougher product, better warranty!

Get this....

Talking to a guy (sales rep) at a aftermarket truck parts store, he says CA. (EPA) is going to outlaw the spray-in bedliner business. He also says ford will void your warranty for putting one in. I don't know, but plan to ask my dealer.

They cannot void your warranty, that would be illegal under the Magnussson-Moss Act. They can refuse to honor any warranty claims related to the bed surface. So what?

The spray-in liners are polyurethane. One of the two chemicals which are combined to produce the PU is very unfriendly. It is possibe that CA wants to deal with that issue. However PU is used in a very wide variety of probucts: Furniture, automotive seating and interiors, refrigerators, commercial roofing and building insulation, etc. Unless the tree huggers want to outlaw all industry, they're going to have a hard timemaking that one stick.

The paint UNDER the liner will no longer be warrantied. This sales jerk wanted to sell you a drop-in liner so he's going to lie his *** off to do it.

Assume all salesmen are liars, thieves and baby-rapers and treat them accordingly. Buy the spray-on liner, iy's a better product
