First, I want to thank those who have been patient with us during the last month and the server busy messages. Please be advised its not due to excessive server load, but rather an occasional spike when thread views are updated (I've written code to reduce/eliminate this but it will take a few days to "tune" it properly).

Ford Truck Enthusiasts' third server arrived via UPS this morning and I'll be installing Linux on it and testing it over the next week or so. In about 2-3 weeks it will go into production. It will effectively double (at least) FTE's processing capacity and will hold us for quite some time.

I just broke my favorite FTE big old honkin coffee mug and don't see the replacements offered anymore...

Ken is a pretty generous guy.

I doubt you would get away without receiving something, if you were to do that.

 

We'll be adding things like mugs again in the future.

Additional Club FTE cards went out today, some of you may end up with two of them.

 

How about getting those big thermo mugs like the ones sold at gas stations? I supose I might be one of the few interested in a 32 or 44 ounce cup.
