I cannot justify spending $350, plus $30 for shipping on rods, bolts, angle iron and door rollers.

 

53, I have located the following issues: CCT December 94, CCT February 99 and CT April 99. The only issue that looks like it will give you any info is the CCT February 99. It shows a step by step of the kit from CPP. The CCT issue from Dec 94 was only about new stock hinges and alignment (is a small sidebar article on BMW will send it too if you want). CT issue April 99 is about full fiberglass tilt front end. I can e-mail you the articles if you want. send me an e-mail through the profile.

It turns out I can't find CT February 1992. Not sure if I ever had that one. Also don't have CCT August 1994.

I used the new improved kit? from No Limit Engineering. I and my friends have only been working on and off for about a month trying to get the hood to line up. I'm sure if I keep cutting (hood curves fenders don't) and adding metal (front edge of hood matches fenders rear seam is great until the pass side then a 1/4 inch more gap at side) to the hood the seams will line up some day.

I guess we all forget they were just trucks in the fifties.
