Question Spare tire carrier for 1969 Flareside

I'm looking for a spare tire carrier for my '69 Flareside/Stepside.

Does anyone know where I can get one? I've not managed to find anything at the local junkyards.

Thanks.

Ben

No, it doesn't look like the fleet side one. The spare tire on a flareside sits next to the driver side rear fender outside the bed.

BTW, the name of the catalog was censored :-(

You might want to spell it out like el am see etc.

Ben

Please don't try to get around the filters, see 2.4 of the user guidelines, thanks!

I have one that came with my '77 flareside, but I think it might be a home made job. I'll go take a pic of it.

My flareside has the dimple on the fender. So the spare tire would go there. However, I'd still need a carrier to hold the tire.

Is the flareside truck is too short to hold the spare tire under the bed? I could, if I know where to get a carrier. The dual exhausts go out in front of the rear wheels.

Do any of the sponsors sell something like that?

There's three bolt holes in the side of the bed. Right above where its sitting. Mines on the passenger side too. Of course, this design would work on the other side as well.

Come to think of it, I have a picture of the truck with the tire mounted on the box. I can load it up if you'd like.
