interrior trim for top?

Anyone know where to get the little clips that the trim screws into on the top? (or what they are called so the parts store moron here can find them in his usless computer) It seems the previous owner only felt he needed one on each end. It rattles like crazy off the road and almost as bad on the road. AAAGGHHH!

The local Auto Zone here carries an assortment of those little plastic keepers. But if the '89 is like the '88 it uses screws for the top trim. Are you looking for the clip nuts?

I know what you are looking for....not the push-in plugs but the metal tabs that mount under the bolt heads that hold the top on. Am I right?

If so, I have a couple of complete sets of them along with a complete trim set or two and an extra top. (not an advertisement just a statement of fact). However I could be persuaded to part with any or all.

greystreak92,
you got it, I don't need no plastic push-whatever things. Your right I need the metal clips that mount under the bolts that hold the top on.

Admin Note: no email addresses in posts, use the contact feature in the profiles. There are too many spambots crawling the web these days looking for email addresses.

OK no e-mail addresses. Just a thought, if you aint allowed to do it you'all might want to remove that button from the vB code feature!

Anyway, Greystreak, I'd like to persuade you but your "contact feature in profiles" is disabled. Mine is not, so please contact me.

Thanks!
