Money isnt an issue, however the speakers are not driven by an amp. I believe my head unit is 50x4. Ive heard the infinity speakers in my mothers dodge and have always been a fan of the. Deffinatly a consideration!
ur HU is not "50x4" that is the peak power its putting out which is a short burst of a second or two. also the RMS ratings are often wrong and in most cases they usually put out around 15w rms. i would suggest a good tri-axl speaker or a component set. if u would amp those speakers the sound would really be more clearer and cleaner. i like pioneer, infinity, mb quart, boston acoustic, cdt, diamond....
Probably in over my head here, Im not into car audio that much so I realy have no idea about any of this. Ar you saying I should just buy a 3 way speaker of the name brands you listed? amped or not it will still sound better then the factory speakers that are now blown correct?
correct. a 3 way speaker or component set would be fine. both sound better amped but the component set usually require higher wattage and need the extra power. either will be fine.

Coaxials only, if you're sticking with HU power. Pioneer, Infinity, Eclipse (damn nice coax's), Kicker, or Alpine Type S. Components off of HU power is just not going to work. They are almost always made to run somewhat inefficiently.
