Bench seats

Where's the best place to buy a new bench seat? I have a 60 f-100 that has two bucket seats in it. I want to replace them with a newer style bench seat (the type that has a fold down center that has cup holders/armrest). Thanks for any info.

There's a couple of places either in Portland or Vancouver,WA. that sell what you want. Look in the yellow pages . We must live close.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. Have you gone to any place in particular locally that you would recommend?

I haven't had to replace anything yet. Several years ago I was going to put a bench/bucket setup in my '77F250 but didn't go through with it.

Talking

http://www.roddoors.com/ will get you there. They are located in Paradise CA. Some of the large truck supply places like Vintage carry there line so you can go check it out in person. Good luck, John

hello,

i'm a new user to this site. i've read several questions and responses and am very impressed with all the helpful information here. i wish i had known about it four years ago, might have saved a headache or two. i am close to the end of my current project, a 56 f-100. it started as a 66 ch*&y pickup project as a way to kill time and has now evolved into an almost finished 56.

concerning the bench seat for an f-100, i tried an 82 chevy and thought it was a little tight. any other ideas?

farron
