Union 76 Nascar OIL

What's up with the Union (Unocal) 76 NASCAR oil?! I was in my local Autozone store Saturday, and noticed their NASCAR oil, in 10w30 and 20w50 weights were stagnant non-movers with noticeable dust cover from months of sittng on the shelf. This is the oil in the orange plastic containers. The majority of it still had the older SJ SAE classification instead of the current SL certification. Anyway, I was just curious as to why this oil is not selling? Any ideas out there? ED

unocal paid nascar to have there put on their product. just cause it says nascar doesnt mean that its a great product. i have used there unocal rear end grease and it works fine. but like i said nascar is all about the money. its just a marketing skeem. i.e coke cola the official drink of nascar
