Has anyone replaced the ignition switch on a 89 f150? This is the one mounted to the steering colunm not the key switch. After replacing switch it appears when I turn the key switch that I can't get enough movement from the actuator arm to turn my truck on. I can remove the mounting screws from the ignition switch and used a screwdriver on it to manually move the switch to the start the truck. I've tried mounting it and adjusting it to where it is at the midpoint of its travel as per the haynes repair manual but to no avail. Please advise.
