Question What's the BEST car / truck you ever owned?

We just had a post about the worst car and worst truck you ever owned, how about the best car and truck! My best truck was a 1971 F-100 /w 390ci engine, 418,000 miles, I bought it new, second best was a 1950 Studebaker 1/2 ton, it just would not die! My best car for comfort and dependability is my 1986 Lincoln Town Car, second to a 1965 Dodge Dart w/ 225 ci slant six.

As far as best goes, my 2002 Ranger. As for my favourite, it has to be my first truck, a 77 F100. Had a 302, 2 barrel, a 4 speed and a 9".

Ugly as f*** but fun to drive.

The one car I really wish I still had was a 1970 Ford Torino GT with a 351C and three speed auto on the floor. That car would HAUL!

My 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis. 156,000 miles and minimum work done to it: starter, radiator, heater core, fan clutch, and maybe a few other little things, but nothing major, yet. The fuel pump started making a bit of a loud hum today. Gonna have to see what comes of that, but I won't give this car up for anything. It's one of those that just won't seem to quit.

My '86 F-150 hasn't done me wrong either. I can't complain about what I own. I expect things to wear out and need replacing, but I can still safely rely on my two vehicles.

Favorite car was Dad's 63 Nova SS. My first love.
Favorite personal car was a green 78 Pontiac Sunbird coupe, just for the memories. California cops seemed to like it too, they sure ticketed it enough.
Favorite current vehicle is of course Bruce the Bronco. If I could marry a truck I'd be a polygamist.

'97 Ranger, stripped, only came with one key! To date: other than regular maintainance, I have had to change ONE licence plate light bulb. Next best: '88 F-379. Worked the TAR out of that truck and it was better by comparison than other guys equivalent trucks.

My fav was the '74 Triumph GT-6. "The Black Projectile of Death" The close second was the '70 Firebird with the worked 400.
As far as trucks, my current '77 F-350 Supercab. The truck I've been waiting for years for, now all I need is 4X4 frame.

Don't know for sure about best, I've only had my new black F-150 Lariat FX4 for a few days. Excluding it, though, I'd say my best was probably my '94 Ranger Splash. Never had any trouble at all with that truck.

My favorite, though, was my black '68 Ford Ranger. I miss that truck.

I'd have to say my second favorite was the 2000 Trans Am I just traded in on the new truck. Fun car, just not very practical.

Had a lot of vehicles that I've enjoyed, but my favorite and best is the one currently in the driveway: '96 Town Car, Signature Series with the Touring Package. Black w/ black leather- what a car. Yes, Virginia, size really DOES matter!
