balljoint -need help

do any of you guys no if 78 bronco balljoint is the same as the 78 250 4/4 balljoint for the top are the same why im asking is moog makes one with the grease fitting on the ege so you can grease it i keep gettyng the ones with the little plug in it and no way two grease it thanks any help would be nice

i might be wrong on this, but didnt the 250 come with a dana 60? the bronco and f150 came with the dana 44.. two completely differant nuckle assemblies. You can alwas drill a hole and add a zerk fitting to the joint, but be careful of shavings getting into the joint

Actually alot of the F-250's came with the 44HD. As I recall, only the F-350's got strictly 60's. But I could be wrong on that part

Only way to know is get the parts guy to let you measure them and eyeball side to side.

yes its got the 44 are they all the same

whoa

butch250, the little cap that comes with the ball joint is used after you grease the ball joint with the zirk fitting, remove the zirk, install the cap and then you wont rip the grease fitting out with your axle when it rotates

yes i no but i like two grease them a lot over the year how would i do it when its all put togather

grease

you unscrew the plug, put in the grease fitting ( it should be a 90 degree fitting ) grease......pull the fitting out, then replace the cap
