Coverting to Mustang type Intake setup....

What alls involved..I've seen and heard of this several times. I have a 95 F150 302/AODE. It's a MAF system.. Thinking about putting the much cheaper type Cobra/Exployer intake on it..Would this loose much low-end torque compared to the factory setup?
Is it worth the hassle if further mods are concerned?

Thanks,

Gerald

First thing that I thought of is the fact that the mustang/exploders intakes are on the opposite side (flipped 180`) so that would be a problem wouldn't it? (brother has 1993 LX 5.0 ex-chp `stang)

Ive heard that the truck set up is better than the mustang, but tey wont fit under the stock mustang hood. Just food for thought.

If the setup in the trucks is better than the Mustang than how come the Mustang engine puts out more horsepower? If I could get another 30 or 40 more horses I would, but how would I do that? I have a 90 F150 with a 302.
