Angry 87 2.9 4x4 clutch - What's wrong with my clutch hydraulic system??

I'm jus completely frustrated here. since I bought the truck 12 years ago it's been like this. The clutch is heavy.

Bleeding it makes it better for a few days. Replacing the master cylinder made it better for a couple of weeks. then it came back to being heavy especially after a long drive (20 miles or more).

It's gotten so bad now, it won't even come back up to engage properly. I'm in need of advise here guys.

I think it's because the hydraulic line is right above the exhaust manifold and the fluid as well as the rings and seals inside are being cooked.

I'd appreciate any and all advise from you. I'm running out of ideas except installing a heat shield on the exhaust to block to heat off and replace a new master cylinder.

Thanks

Gary
