ABS light coming on

My ABS light comes on on my 89 F150 only when i get on the highway. Once i get off the highway, it stays on until i turn it off, then i can start it back up and it will stay off. Any ideas on this? Could it be a bad sensor or what?

Also, on a more general question. To reset the computer on my truck, does it work to disconnect the battery for a couple minutes, turn the key a few times then reconnect the battery? It work on my 93 Jeep Wrangler, but not sure if it would suffice on my truck (just got some flows put on, wondering if resetting the computer would let it relearn with the new mod) thx

If you take off the neg. cable for fifteen minutes it will clear codes. No need to tun on the key.
If you have a problem in the system, it will turn the light on again.

You can pull the codes on rear ABS.
If you have 4 wheel ABS. You have to go to the dealer..or live with the light on.
I have an ABS light that comes on sometimes. I'm learning to ignore it.
You might want to get it scaned at Ford, but it's around 90 bucks just to scan it.

Good luck
