Code 87??? 1990 F-150
I had a code 87 come up on the diagnostic test. I have wiggled and tapped everything I could find but it didnt cause the truck to choke or die. I have replaced the fule pump, fule filter, and fuel pump relay.......
When I am driving the truck will die when I come to a stop or start driving from a stop. It also will sometimes choke while I am at higher speeds.
Please help!

The inertia switch which shuts off fuel to the engine in the event of a collision afords a simple and convenient means by wich fuel pressure can be relieved before servicing fuel injection components.
The inertia switch is located under the dash on the firewall to the left of the brake pedal or behind the right kick panel.
Once youve found the switch start the engine.
With the engine idling, insert a small screwdriver into the slot provided and pry the red button up.
Let the engine run intil it stalls.
Turn the ignition off.
Depress the red button on the inertia switch
Turn the key to the run position, you should here your pump prime.
The switch is now reset
