352 to 460 swap

I was wondering if anyone had any input on this. How easy would it be to put a 460 into a 1965 F100 that has an FE motor in it like a 352 or 360? Would it just bolt right in or are the motor mounts different? Could I use the same tranny or do those have a different pattern? Any advice would be great.

I hope I can shed some light on that. Anything is possible with patience and money! Your in luck, their is after market motor mounts for that application. They are made by Trans-dapt performance products, part #9720. These mounts only work if the truck is 2wd and the engine must not come from a Lincoln. As far as a transmission we don't know what is in the truck but if it's an automatic it won't work. If it's A manual, it would probably work with the right clutch and bellhousing. Everything else should go pretty easily. Hope that helps you out!
