how bad would gas mileage be with 4.10 gears and a 2500 stall in a c6 with shift kit.

What kinda gas mileage you get now? I would bet it would stay the same or pretty close. It would allow your engine to work a little easier, with that cam and stock converter you aren't allowing the motor to begin to reach decent torque output, more likely than not so it has to work harder. You could alway go with an AOD. That would help ofset the higher stall and gears and make cruising more tolerable. Later

i don't really know the mileage now i said it was a beater truck the gas tanks are screwed up also so i have a boat 6 gallon tank in the toolbox with an electric pump hooked to it. it does not last that long. i have an aod from the 90 f150 but before i took it out it always started bucking when i behind a slow bus going about 45. when i got my foot on the gas a little and let it shift out of od it would work fine. do you think that was the torque convertor or the clutches slipping or what

Well either way would be a good time to rebuild that sucker and drop it behind your cammed up 302. If it is the non electronic aod it very well could have been lack of vacuum if not slipping clutches or converter. later
