Question 1987 F-150 Help!

I have a 1987 Ford F-150 w/ a 351W (5.8L). It has the Holley 4-Barrel stock Carb. Here is my question - No matter if it is warm or cold outside my truck will start however unless given at least 10 minutes to warm up when put into any gear the truck turns off. I have checked vacuum lines - no leaks that I see - I have checked the electric assisted choke and it is ok. I may have overlooked something but I just don't know what to do next. I have been searching for a vacuum diagram for this truck but have not found one (many vacuum lines were unhooked when I purchased the truck - have hooked them all up to the lines that they appeared to be connected to). I just don't know what to do next. I have been contemplating a carb rebuild but really wish I had a vacuum diagram - I have the Chilton and Haynes Manuals as well as the 1987 Ford Dealership electrical and vacuum troubleshooting manual - but none of these has been of any help. If anyone has a suggestion please respond to this - THANKS A bunch. - if I didn't give enough information about my troubles please feel free to ask. Thanks again!

What transmission is in it? If it's the C-6 there is a vaccum modulator on the tranmission that could be bad. The complete vaccum diagram is on the core support.... If you can decipher it.
