1995 F150 - Hazard Flasher

The four way flashers on my truck are no longer working. I can not find the flasher for them though. Can soemoen tell me where it is? The only one I can find is for the turn signals. I have checked the multifunction switch in the steering column and it passes the continuity checks for the hazards.

If I remember, Ford likes to hide them. Look on the back side of the fuse panel. Basically right behind the turn signal one.
You might have to take a couple screws out and drop the fuse block to get to it.

Also, they absolutely love to hide them behind & above the glove box! That's where the one is on my 88 model. So check there as well.

Put your hazzards on, then listen for the clicking. That might help you.

I looked behind the fuse box and it wasn't there. Tried looking up under the dash with a flashlight but no luck. The service manual I have said it was either behind the fuse box or on a bracket at the end of the control panel. Couldn't locate the bracket. Guess the search will go on.

Did you try looking behind & above the glove box? That's where the one is on my 88 model F-150.

I guess Ford likes to hide them to where they are the only one's who can find them.

I looked behind the glove box yesterday and I saw nothing that looked like a flasher. There was an electronics box nect to the defroster vent duct but it didn't look promising.

Do you have a relay box under your hood? That is the only other place that comes to mind. I just remembered that, combined with the fact that yours is a 95 model, is where it "could be"

Let us know if you find it.

There is a power distribution box under the hood taht has relays in it. Looked in the owner's manual and in the box itself but didn't find teh flasher there.

I found it. It was on the back of the fuse box opposite the turn signal flasher. The reason I missed it the first dozen times was because there was no flasher in it!! Evidently teh previous owner removed it for some reason.

Blinkers/Flashers/brake lights not working

96 F250, 7.5, 4X4, blinkers/flashers and brake lights quit the other day. Just replaced both flashers on the front and back of the fuse box, still nothing. High brake light above the cab still works however? Any thoughts?
Thanks, gizmo6958

With those symptoms, I'd be looking toward the MFS.
