How heavy is the 302?

Question How heavy is the 302?
I need to pull the 302 engine from my 88 bronco, and I'm trying to figure out what the weight is so that I can get a stand that wont topple over.

302 weight,
As far as i know mate the 302 weighs in at around 460pounds,

up to 1982 they were 460 and then from 1983 and on they were 440.

I had a 750lb stand and it held the 302 I was putting in my bronco II. It flexed alot, but it worked and was only $30 from harbor freight.

I went ahead and bought a 750lb one from good 'ol HF as well.

Just spend the money and get a 1250lb. Make sure the legs are in a u shape. This is close to what I have but mine is Mac tools.
