54 F100 window track replacement

Is anyone familiar with replacing the window tracks on the F100? My guid track is in good shape and I am wondering if I should replace te felt, or just buy a new kit. Any thoughts?

Paul; I have found that replacing (all) the window tracks, felts, seals, guides, the easy way to go. You have to remove all the pieces, the glass, and the regulator as well,so why not replace all the rubber and felt too! they all snap out and in with plastic ***** on the moldings. Just be careful not to bend the moldings as they are wimpy. The vent window moldings are just as simple to replace. All the parts are easly found and not expensive. While you are at it change the rollers on the regulator as well. Jim VA.
