Propane o.k i guess! NOS on a diesel???

I was looking around a diesel performance forum. Havent been on it in a few years. the last time I was on it Propane was the big thing to do. Now they are all talking about nitrous. Is this safe? possible? greatly damaging to diesel?

the guy runnin g the NO2 are making some real big Hp numbers but right there a hunt for power on #2 alone and the NO2 seems to be hard on ruds and pistons I mean a 22 to 1 motor with there 40 pounds of boost and then NO2 its no wounder they are breaking stuff left and right
