i got my 521 running a wondered what you guys thought it should have for horsepower
it has a 4.300 crank with 6.8 rods and 10.5 CR bored .030
the head are ported (bowl blend work gasket match) DOVE C with 2.19 intake and 1.76 exhaust and have port plates the cam is a hydraulic with 248 duration a .050 and .579 lift and 254 exhaust with .598 lift the intake is a weland stealth with a 850 carb and 2 inch headers

I'm assuming the cam is a hydraulic roller? With that much lift and duration it sounds like it is. What is the cam part number and brand? Mufflers or no-mufflers? If this is street driven you 850 carb is adequate, if this is a race engine your under-carbed. Are the rods forged...if not, your going to be limited in RPM. Get us the above info and we can run it on the desk-top dyno programs.

I would guess around 590-600 hp. I have a slightly smaller cam, D3VE's with the same valves, 750 Holley, 9.5-1 CR, and 466 cubes. But my hp rating is 487. When I was fooling around with Desktop Dyno a few months ago I looked at doing a stroker and that was the round about HP rating it gave me.
