I have a 2003 F250 6.0 PowerStroke. At 2500 miles it blew 2 valves. Dealer said a bolt in the rocker arm assembly sheared, Took the dealer a month to get my truck back in service. I was told this was one of only 3 -4 occurences which did not make me feel any better. Any experience with this problem and/or the length of time to repair these 6.0's?
I just recently bought a 2003 6.0 L Excursion. At 700 miles it started shaking and smoking. The Dealer says the rocker arm assembly malfunctioned and they are in the process of removing the valve cover and repair. How did your repair end up? Any problems since?
