1988 Bronco II water leaks in the cab
I have been knocking my brains out trying to find out where this leak is. To this date I've narrowed the leaks to the area just under the driver side pedals. A little history on this B II. I bought this as a winter and fishing truck. the previous owner really abused this pup and I've been slowly restoring to better than new shape. But my main roadblock is the leaks. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Hiya.
actually its just plain water. it seeps in when it rains, and most of the concentration is under the drivers feet. The passenger side also gets damp but no where near the amount the driver has. I have search high and low, pulled out 2 wet insulation bags from the engine firewall side. I'm up to using a hose to find the leak, but have to wait till the weather gets better.

my friend had a problem like this and he had a gromit that had broke around the firewall , i was looking on my 88 and mine around the brake pedel was a lil wet too .. other than that did you check the bottom windsheild seal ? it could be rolling down the back of the dash and on the inner wall . good luck

well I found the source of the leak. Theres a cavity on both sides of the firewall that allows the water from the wiper linkage area and the hood seams to leak out. Water is colleting in a little " Catch" pocket below and to the left of this area. Water has accumulating and rotted a small hole in the area just under the emergency brake along the side of the wall. on both the left and right side of the driver/pass foot area.
I'm debating wether to fill the area with foam insulation or find the low spot and drill a drain hole and grommet .
