what good spots are there in the general houston area? preferably north....

 

What kind of off roadin you lookin fer? Don't know too much stuff around houston but I hear there's some decent rock crawling around the san antonio area.
I didn't get into real off-roading (besides the mud in beaumont) until I got to colorado so I don't know about a whole lot of places in Texas but from what I understand most of the good places that people like to go are illegal. So happy trails

Take it to the park in Gilmer........just a few hours north of you and worth the trip!
