Mustang Rims, Will it fit?!
Alright, I am planning on buying rims for my 1992 Aerostar XL Extended 4.0. I have the stock steel 14" rims on it right now and I plan on buying rims for $125- 17" 3-spoke 1996 Mustang rims off of a 6-cyl 1996 Mustang, I need to know if these will fit on my van, fit in my wheel wells, and not hit my wheelwells when driving(rough and normal driving). I would just like to spruce up the look of my van with this, i hear that some mustang rims will fit but I would like a confirmation from the pros here. Thank you for you time.

OK, according to discounttire.com, we have a 5*114.3 2?mm pattern/offset, as do the later 5-lug mustangs. Using this logic, the mustang wheels should fit. The only worry would be rubbing since the wheels are about an inch wider. Then again, on a stock height van, it MAY not be a problem. The good thing here is that you can pick up stock mustang wheel/tire combos for next to nothing since so many owners upgrade. I personally like the newer 5-spokes. I will look into this when I have to replace the tires next .
