SunnySlope Auto parts at Central ave 1 block south of Dunlap on the east side of central in Phx. i know it's not close to you.but the owner Don Woodward has been building and racing since the 1960's. and he mainly does fords. he rebuilt the 400 in my truck last year an i'm VERY happy with it. if you tell him what you want in a motor. he'll take the time to sit down with you and tell you what you need to do to it. and do it right the first time. and he wont try to sell you something you dont need.
and when i'm having a problem with something. i'll call him up and ask him what he thinks wrong. and he give me free advise. most shops today tell you to come by and we'll check it out. because they want to try and sell you something. he's not like that. he has a bunch of drag racing pics on the wall of him and one is really cool. he's in a 60 something ford milk truck doing a 3ft wheel stand off the line. VERY COOL
