Does anyone know where I can buy replacement switch bezels for my 82 F250? I want the drivers door pwr window switch bezel and a pwr door lock bezel.

The local Ford dealer says the parts are obsolete. They would not, or could not, provide the part number. I replaced these chrome bezels about ten years ago and may be able to come up with the old receipt (part number) if that will help but where do I look?

im in the process of making my on with a dpdt switch which i tried today and it worked but im ight go with 87-91

 

What is a dpdt switch? Double pole - Double throw?
That would not solve my problem. I want to restore the interior of my truck. The factory switches work but the bezel that holds the switch into the door panel is cracked.

The link to Green Sales Company was good. I dug up old receipts and entered the part numbers into their inventory search. Two of the four parts seem to be available. The only problem now is to figure out which parts the part numbers I have are. The Ford receipt only says "HSG".

I will call Green on Monday and see what they have.

Anyone know of any other sources for obsolete ford parts?

I bought new power lock bezels from www.broncograveyard.com for my 84 a couple of months ago. They should be the same for your 82.

I could not locate the bezels on the web site. Do you still have the part numbers? Perhaps I can call them with those numbers. I did find the switches on the site - but I don't need those.

I'll try to get the part numbers tonight. They are still in the box.

The only problem is, my house is torn to pieces right now, in the middle of a major remodeling job, and I may have trouble locating the box.

I couldn't find them on the website either. I called them, and told them what I was looking for, and they were able to figure it out. The part numbers would be easier though.

I only got the door lock switch bezels, not the power window ones.

No problem - take your time. I just installed two new door panels and I'm not planning to disassemble them right away. The next time I pull 'em I would like to replace the bezels.

Where did you get your door panels? I need some new ones. That's kind of what I was waiting on to install my bezels. I didn't want to break them taking them back out.

I've seen several sources for panels, but I'm not sure which ones to go with.

From reading here the larger trucks used the same interior as 80-86 pickups until 98 so your dealer might be able to get door panels

 

so I would need to replace switches and bezels to go to post-86 style.

I still need a part number for the Driver's side Power window switch bezel. I have located the other switch bezels.
Can anyone help?

 

My house is coming back together. I should be able to find my bezels tonight. I'll do my best to get the part numbers for you tonight.
