My 96 ford F350 4x4 (460 eng) did not come with a tach from the factory. I would like to change the instrument panel to have a factory tach. Is this possible or a difficult job to do? I know I have other options for a aftermarket tach which will cost a lot less $$, but I would very much like to have the factory look. Any experience out there with this? Thanks again

 

I posted this same question about a 351w about a month ago and got 3 replies saying there was no problem. Have not done it yet but plan to in a week or 2.will let you know how it works or if you get it done first let me know.
