My 1995 F-150 Eddie Bauer Edition truck has duel fuel tanks. They
were both working fine. Then I switched to the back tank and it
worked but when I tried to go back to the front tank it shuts
down immediately! The front tanks is full and no leaking from
either tank. Is this problem in the dash board switch, a relay
switch or fuel pump? If there is a relay switch where the heck is
it? Sure would appreciate some help here! Thanks.

 

Did any fuses blow?

 

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOR FUEL RELAY SWITCH THERE'S 2 UNDER HOOD ON DRIVER'S SIDE UP UNDER BLACK BOX THEY SHOULD BE ABOUT 1 AND A HALF INCHES SQUARE AND GREY BROWN OR GREEN. IT MAY ALSO BE THE TANK REGULATER UNDER THE FRAME RAIL ON DRIVERS SIDE IT REGULATES FUEL FROM BOTH TANKS ABOUT $85.00

 

if your front tank was making a whining noise it was probably a bad fuel pump, otherwise its probably a relay or fuse
