Question 7 ft. bed

Maybe somebody knows the answer. I recently purchased a 1992 F-150 Super Cab. After some discussion with friends we measured the bed and it is 7 ft. long. Was this the length for longbeds that year or what. Have talked to people others and they all have 8 ft. beds or 6 ft. beds. Whats up with a 7 ft. bed?

Ford short beds are actually 6 1/2' or 6 3/4'. The sticker on your driverside door should say 133" wheelbase.

Yup, if it was a super cab long bed, it'd be 155" wheelbase.
You have 6¾' bed.
