shock mount broke '70 F100
I have repaired many shock mounts but cutting 2 pieces of heavy strap iron, drilling 1/2 inch holes in them and welding them in place. I usually bolt them to the shock to tack them in so the bolt holes line up. Oh, yeah, it is easier to drill the holes before you cut the pieces if you are using a drill press.
