Just like the subject says. Any file I try to download disappears never to be seen again. The download will complete, but then the download box disappears, no matter if I check the close this box after downloading or not. then when i do a search on my computer for the file, get no results found, and I type in the file to search for word for word like the download box says. I am running windows xp. I hope I explained this well enough and thanks for the help...Ben

 

When the download box comes up to download the file, where do you save it?

 

it doesn't give me that option, acerockola77. The only option that is clickable is the cancel box. the open and open folder box are there while the file is downloading, but not clickable...this is mostly on mp3's I believe...thanks, Ben

 

If you are downloading music using Kazza or some other software there should be a "settings" or "preference" section that will tell you where you want the files downloaded to. Check there, or try to be more specific about what you are downloading. Do you have more than 1 drive? Maybe they are going to a different drive.

 

do a search for most recently modified files...it should bring up a list of things dled recently and you should be able to pick the names off the list, it should also tell you the destination of the files being downloaded...lemme know if that helps

 

I creat folders to suit the material I am downloading. It makes it easier to find stuff.
