We're heading down the way of Surprise in April, from Northern Cali. Already have our uhaul truck reserved, and getting excited. The worst part, will be packing, and then we're outta here! My husband's a racing fan, hydro boats, Nascar, etc. I'm the truck fan. I've been DYING to go watch mud bog competitions, hopefully, I'll get my chance..
I can't believe how many truck fans are in arizona. That's great! I can't wait to get there. I lived in Glendale almost 15 years ago, it will be nice to be back home.
Let me say, welcome back, but don't make any expectations on what it was like 15 years ago. It's a whole nuther place today. Still a good place to live though. I wouldn't trade the weather for anything.

I agree. Welcome back. You will find a lot of differences though from all the folks moving here from California.
I live in Chandler, McQueen and Pecos Roads. This is a reminder from an old post in this forum. If any of you are free on Saturday, March 20th 2004, come on out to the Make A Wish Foundation Car And Motorcycle Show at La Casa Loca on Dunlap Avenue, south side, about 1/2 mile east of I-17, and about 1/4 mile west of 19th Avenue. It is by the Kyoto Bowl. I'll be playing guitar in the band called "Fools Life". Come on out and say hello, see some great rides, or bring your own, and enjoy some good music, food and drink. The band starts at 4:00 PM. Take care.
Went to Prescott high, Camp Verde high, Sunnyslope, and Thunderbird between 90-94. Currently stationed in Yuma. It's as close to Phoenix as the Marine Corps gets without being reserve.
