Assuming gas costs $1.53/gallon, that you drive 18k miles a year, and the difference in mileage between the two rear ends is 1 mpg average, the total yearly cost difference is only $116/year, or less than $10 per month. Sounds like a convincing argument for the 3.73 to me.
