I hate the front end on the new chevy

 

1) Not sure on that one
2) Too car like for me, and I just don'ty like the way it looks inside.
3) Even the 3V 5.4 will be no match for dodge's hemi, unless you factor in the lightning, but dodge is releasing the srt10, so even that will be out done.

 

lol Chevy is ugly Dodge is a tin can and the toyots is the only one that compares to the ford in style
chevy doesnt offer a 6.0 in a 1500 sept ss and dodge does have power but no match for a 5.4 but the little 4.7 toyota is a killer due to light wieght.
price dont matter if it looks good and runs good

 

Ive heard that the hemi is not as good as their putting out.I thought you could get a 6.0 in a 1500 HD

 

If I was shopping for a truck next year I would most likely end up with the Ford or Dodge. I think these will both have good build quality, good styling and capable powertrains. For me, the Toyota seems to small (it is certainly the smallest "full size" truck of the bunch), that and a I have not been to impressed with the reliability and repair cost my friend has had with his. The GM's are behind in build quality (especially in the interior dept.), and the styling already looks dated to me (great powertrains as usual though). I think the Nissan will also be a strong contender when it arrives, but I myself would buy American if the choices were close.

 

According to Edmunds.com the 04 F-150 has a huge amount of power.

 

I got a 2002 powerstroke lariet crewcab which i thik is a great truck.But if I had to ride any distance I would pick the chevy any day.4 wheeler magazine rated the chevy the best interior but the ford won overall.I think the duramax will outpull the 7.3 like i have but not the new 6.0

 

Chevy the best interior? Every GM truck I have been in has had horrible build quality in the interior and cheap plastics. Take a look at THIS long term test from Edmunds.com and be sure to look at the problem history. That isn't the only review either. Almost every GM vehicle they review seems to have cheap plastics, poor egornomics, and poor build quality.

 

I'm with you on that. The new chevy is the most homely truck front end i have ever seen, why would they ever change the 2001/2002 HD grill to that is a thing of mystery.

 

That old front end looked good but this new thing looks like you no.Hi HO thats just how 4 wheeler magazine rated them.My leather seat in my powerstroke is like sitting on a board.4 wheeler also rated it the worst of the three for interior.But the truck is built like a tank.Man Idont know if you can even hurt this thing.I wish it had that new f150 interior in it with auto shifter on the floor

 

I very recently looked at an 04 f150. I hate to say it, but it is the ugliest, truck I have ever seen. ANd I thought the cheby avalanches were nasty. The interrior looks like a japanese import, which has never impressed me. I am glad I bought a superduty instead.

 

I love the new '04 F-150. It is better looking, better interior, more power, more towing, handles better (rack and pinion), will load more in the bed, and the 5.4 has the F-250 HD 10.25 rear end diff.

The only drawback: It is the highest price!!

I would buy the Chevy/GMC if I didn't buy Ford. I don't want a rice burner truck and the Dodge trucks are German owned, and they have not supported the USA recently.
