My '94 F150 XLT SuperCab, built in 2/94 has paint codes "XD" for Light Santa Fe, and "CB" for Medium Palomino Poly, and I just got a dealer brochure for '94, and neither color is listed, they list a "Tucson Bronze Clearcoat Metallic", which sounds (and looks) like my "Light Santa Fe" and a "Desert Copper Clearcoat Metallic" which sounds like my "Medium Palomino Poly" anyone know whats up with this?? I've looked at the Auto Color Library online and it looks like the "Light Santa Fe" was only used in '94????
Do I have a rare paint combo?? I've seen others, including an F350 dually SuperCab with this paint combo.

 

No, it was made for 1995 as well. I have the brochure for both years. Those are good colors. Beats my Dark Mocha Metallic on light Mocha Metallic.

The 1996 colors are the same as the 1997 model year F-150s.

 

Past, I understand what you're saying, and I certainly believe you, but the fact that the Santa Fe, and Palomino ARE NOT listed in the brochure is weird to me, if you will look inside the front of the '94 brochure you'll see "my" truck, even though the lighting is weird, anyone else have THIS paint combo??

 

I've seen several of these combinations before. My neighbor used to have a '94 Supercab shortbed 2wd with the combo. It has the tucson on top with desert copper middle.

It sounds to me like Auto Color online has different names for the same colors.
