cleaning the MAF sensor

I'm trying to locate a mpg loss problem on my truck. It was suggested that I clean the MAF sensor. Anyone done this? What method is best? Thanks, God Bless, huckster

cleaning the MAF sensor

Hey huckster i followed one off the guys suggestions & sprayed it
[ the whole mass area with some throttle bodie cleaner & wow
idle smothed out felt stronger. While you are there you should
look at your charge air sensor & give it a spray also just a little on
this one.

good luck turbo ted
